Swift Current Man Charged for Indecent Exposure
66 year old Leon Edwin Ferack will spend the next 8 months in jail after indecently exposing himself at a Tim Hortons in Swift Current. Ferack plead guilty to his charges in court on Tuesday. Once released from prison, Ferack will be on a two year probation that will include a ban from Tim Hortons. Ferack was charged with a similar offense two years ago at the Urban Ground in Swift Current. He will also be banned from entering that coffee shop for two years.

Motorists Faced With New Traffic Lights in Swift Current
Traffic is once again flowing smoothly through the Intersection at highway 1 and 4. Several lights are now functioning for traffic heading into the mall or using the ramp to enter onto the highway. This marks the finishing touches on a project which started earlier this spring.

NDP Health Critic Raises Questions Over Private Healthcare in Saskatchewan
Judy Junor spent the day in Swift Current yesterday touring local health faculties. The NDP health critic also took the time to comment on a new initiative launched this week that will see dental and knee surgeries performed in private clinics outside of a hospital setting. Junor said the government should focus on utilizing resources in Swift Current by offering more local surgeries instead of looking to private clinics to reduce surgical wait lists.
